TWS, Nepal is a sole
active organization in the Watercolor sector in Nepal, led by some enthusiastic
young artists aiming to create a common platform. It envisions reviving and
popularizing its unique taste among art lovers which was shed by our ancestors.
This time we are so depressed. The reason behind is this beautiful medium is shadowed
and neglected saying as it is a tool to experiments during learning periods in
the schools and colleges.
Watercolor does not demand landscape and portrait making only
as generally believed but to the large extend, it is used to execute several
subjective feelings in a truly modern forms like other medium. Moreover this
medium is considered richer in terms of its innate qualities like simplicity,
spontaneity and transparency that easily attracts viewers however the problems
lies in its lack of publicity and proper
education. We believe in our capacity and dedication that somehow, someday we can
re-establish its medium as leading art genre in art sector!
